Baker Days Letterbox Cake

Who doesn’t love cake? And a cake delivered through your letterbox, does it get much better than that.

Last month my husband started a new job and I wasn’t sure what to get him to celebrate. We’re not big drinkers and I didn’t want to splash the cash too much. Bakerdays got in contact with me and told me about their personalised cakes and cupcakes. I had a look on their website, which got my mouth-watering instantly.

They have cakes to celebrate any occasion but I had a particular picture in mind for my husbands cake. I messaged them asking if they could personalise the cake with a picture of a sports car…they did not disappoint.

The cake came in a cardboard box with air pouches around the sides to insure its safe delivery. They are so well packaged, the cake arrived in perfect condition. And just look at that design, I was over the moon with it.

It also comes in a lovely cake tin which I have kept to keep sweets in. There is a convenient little pull tab to make it nice and easy getting your cake out of the tin.

Now for the really important bit….What does it taste like?

Well you will be pleased to know that not only does it look amazing, it tastes amazing too. I went for a chocolate cream flavoured sponge, the sponge was delicious and the icing was tasty and sweet. It was everything you could want from a cake.

My daughter said she wants a Bakerdays cake for her birthday.

Overall I was thrilled with my Bakerdays experience. From the personalization to the taste of the cake. The whole process was a joy.

Thank you very much Bakerdays!
